So I got the class blog set up on Saturday and today I set up the students and staff so that we can start blogging tomorrow. What I learned since Saturday...
1. I created a class
2. I created student blogs and set up usernames, passwords and URL's for 4 students and 4 staff members. I just realized I did not add myself as an administrator on their sites and will need to go back and do that, somehow...I will learn that to.
3. I added a widget to the class blog. The widget is a class list or our students. This I learned on Saturday but needed to re-learn it due to absolutely forgetting how I did it. eels
4. I learned how to navigate between dashboards
I am trying to figure out how to moderate the posts and hope I get this figured out by tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will introduce blogging to the class and support workers in the class. Students will be able to set up there front page and do their first post. It will be a work in progress because I will be learning with them.
Whew that is for now...it took way less time to write what I had learnt than it did doing it hahah.
